Hi all, can someone help me dissect this press release:
biz.yahoo.com

Unless I'm badly mistaken, it looks to be the first time Cisco has done this type of thing. In its essence, it looks like they are expensing stock options for the Andiamo spin-in. If so, then this may be a precursor to some bigger charges and expenses to come. In other words, they may be testing the waters to see about expanding this first step to include expensing of options throughout the entire company. The main reason I was thinking this, is that it comes on the heels of the new CFO's statements about aiming for a 10 out of 10 on accounting conservatism.

Most likely, I'm probably just jumping to conclusions that reflect my own desires. However, if anyone else would like to comment on their thoughts, I'd appreciate it.
