Rrufff, the issue of terrorism in the Islamic world is very complex. Its nature is very different from that of terrorism of the Red Army etc.

There are the monarchies in the Arabic world, who when they are threatened by terrorists will indeed come out and condemn them to retin their monarchy. Now if the Al Qaeda attacks the Western world and leaves the monarchies alone then they just keep mum.

Anyway, back to Bush. This kiddo is way off base in his stated war on terrorism. Iraq was a big diversion and only someone with a kiddish Rambo like approach similar to that of our "beloved" Prez would lead this nation to engaging in war with Iraq to avenge the assasination attempt of his father and the oilfields of Iraq. If he was serious about combating terrorism, then he should have ordered his troops is hot pursuit of the terrorists into Pakistan. But Pakistan does not have oil, so he did not order his troops into Pakistan, which is nation born out of fundamental Islamic principles and harbors terrorists.
