Yes, all the news feeds are gone or going. There are other/better places to get news for free without me having to pay for things like that. I alluded earlier to a personal favorite (a relatively unknown site) and would mention them by name but that kinda plug ain't happening for free. <g> I'll talk with them, hopefully this coming week, to see what it's worth to them to be the site's official news provider.

Basically, all contracts that involved SI paying money for any kind of content have been terminated. In certain, very selective cases, they'll be renegotiated. By "very selective", I mean if it's gonna cost money, it'd better be worth it and the ROI can't only be measurable in eyeballs.

This is a very premium property and brand. While I may later be proven wrong on this, it's my belief that it shouldn't be paying for that kind of content. It should be paid for "being seen with" these kinds of content providers, many of whom I'll be contacting as soon as time allows.
