The European model of mixed economies is far more humane than the criminal law-of-the-jungle crony capitalism model being foisted on the world by Bush/Cheney, the racketeers at the IMF and WTO anti-environment and anti-labor elitists. Raw capitalism (masquerading as corporate globalization and "free markets") is being shown to be anti-human in its essence, "..unless I'm the dictator....." as King George has been quoted. Then this rape-and-pillage system makes a lot of sense. But only for a tiny elite, hellbent on creating a new Dark Ages and feudalism for most of humanity.
