victor, you can't argue your point, can you? where is my ad hominem wet suit, i'm drowning! -lol-

**You started off talking tax policy.
What you really want is wealth transfer.
Why didn't you just say so?**

b/c tax policy is, by definition, wealth transfer. the issue is where to transfer it. bush says he wants to return some of the 68% of the taxes to the people who own about 70% of america to reduce their underpayment relative to their ownership of america and he's LYING about this being the best use of the money to "help the economy."

all i said is that increasing supply through investment isn't good when the problem is oversupply. it is better to increase demand by giving the money to folks who would actually spend it - from the economy's standpoint.

**Skeeter, you rich guy you, you need to immediately sell your rented condo and give the proceeds to the decendants of slaves.**

i know some small minds can't grasp this... but i'm not a tax and spender. the govt is waaaay out of control with spending and serving their own self interests above the nation's self interest. i would love to see some corporate welfare cut back so that early and other eductation in at risk areas, many of which have descendants of slaves and others living in them.

btw, some descendants of slaves are doing quite well, thank you. imho, need is more important than racial background.
