We have not, IMO, tried positively (meaning in their population's behalf) to intervene in any other country's, region's problems on this Earth in the last 60 years or so, except maybe the Balkans, and I am not VERY sure about that..

Someone can help me there.. Because I just DON'T KNOW.. From what I hear or read they are not killing each other there now.... But I still don't know..

Naw, the hubris isn't going to do it. Bad bookkeeping will.

The GHP seems hellbent on destroying the social welfare aspects of the Federal government while draining the wealth of the nation into black holes like National Missile Defense and other "black ops" budget voodoo. Not to mention Hell-i-burden and 'For Whom the Bech-tolls'.

Bankruptcy is what will bankrupt this nation. Not mere hubris. <g>
