To provide roads, potable water, sewerage, police and fire services, education and all sort of other unnecessary accoutrements of civilization in your opinion?

Or would you rather be like Cochabamba, Bolivia where the 'free market' provided all these services? And the evil American corporation, Bechtel, was able to waltz into town and charge poor people fees for collecting rainwater off their roofs?

Is this the future you seek? Better wake up, Ossy. Your 'free market' paradise is a snake pit of corruption and exploitation.

Hi elmatador,

When I wrote cheaper, I meant less expensive. It wasn't intended to be synonymous with shoddy workmanship... A poor choice of wording on my part...
