Scott, I'm not sure that I believe in God, but I'll never be an atheist. Atheism does not espouse the qualities of charity, compassion, and forgiveness that Christianity and other religions do. These qualities are essential for living with equanimity in a tumultuous world. They are what allow us to forgive Dr. Harmon much of his uncivil behavior, because he also exhibits many other worthwhile qualities and character. I'm sure you have fine qualities that would allow us to forgive you, too, but we have yet to see them. Peace, Bob
