Hello DAK, a not very amusing happening occurred today, to me, almost right where it mattered most.
I tried to sell some of my November 04 and November 05 US Treasury Strips, and the amounts involved are not exactly small (in my view, in any case:0), but, gad, guess what?

The London trading desk of my broker refused to bid on the presumably worthless pieces of fiat!

My broker will try to off load the fiat tonight via the New York trading desk.

How much is something worth if there are no bids?

Chugs, Jay

Is this normal?

I trust Jay.

I suppose i am a little shook up as i am so sure that the talk of deflation has more to do with dollar needing to deflate as it not been able to create value obviously or rates would of risen. So i guess I am wondering if we could be heading for a world currency crisis. And I also know there will be a great deal going on to fend said off.
