they are passionate for (the collapse of equities and the US economy).

Well it is my contention that hiding expenses and pretending they don't exist is harmful to our economy in the long run, as well as harmful to companies who are trying to do a good job of balancing the interests of employees and shareholders. If this goes on much longer, we may become the laughing stock for international investors whom are addressing this issue themselves through the IASB.
