Carl, Simple. If I go to the yellow pages and want to go to the symphony, I don't want to go there and find out that a group of regulars have decided to change the symphony hall into a Rock and Roll bar. If the thread has been usurped from it's intended purpose, change the name and move it to an appropriate area on SI. Then people don't have to visit it and read a bunch of off AMAT crap before realizing they should ignore the thread. It is very easy to create a thread. What benefit do you and the others on the "AMAT" thread get from keeping the current name? None. What confusion does keeping it introduce? Much. WHY? Ira
