I think Vijay is a product of 3rd world country thinking, his withdrawal doesn't help his image at all, he's getting poor advice or not taking it. Jim

He is not handling this well at all and likely needs to just STFU at this point IMO. As someone pointed out the sponsor's exemptions are used in every tournament and they will certainly increase viewers and advertiser's with this move so IMO it's a no brainer for the sponsor.

You're such a wonderful person. :) I say viva la difference. If women want to compete against men in golf, there should be another tour set up for it. It might be interesting. There's been a few tournaments of mixed teams, but they didn't draw much of an audience. I think the novelity of a woman playing in a man's tournament is good for one tournament only. People will watch to see what happens but will want things returned back to normal. Any sporting contest where a man and a woman are competing is just not very interesting to me and I doubt many people are fascinated by the specter. There'll always be situations to challenge where there's exclusion. It's interesting that Vijay is the one protesting by pulling out (even tho he's claiming he's pulling out for other reasons). 40 years ago, he wouldn't be able to play in a golf tournament. If anything, he should have made it a point to play in the tournament, especially since he was so critical.
