All rights reserved NEM's annualized cash flow rose by a cool $70 million today...HMY's by roughly $30 million ( or 240 million Rand ) , GFI's by roughly 40 million, DROOY's by 10 million ( nearly 5 times its recent quarterly earnings ) . of course that's all theoretical, provided the PoG rise sticks, and ceteris paribus generally ( i.e., without accounting for the strength in local currencies of the countries where the mines are ) . still, this is just to illustrate that at least in theory, there's a lot of leverage inherent in gold producer's earnings.
