I don't know all the whys and whats but there is little benefit from say a pent 3 500 to a pen 4 2.5 gig for me. I don't see much of a speed dif

Weak demand is certainly a benefit in negotiations. I don't upgrade my PC's any more. I did add a couple to my home network but see no reason to buy again until they fail.

I am still waiting for DSL so that I can dump Comcast...
