Looks like you clipped the apex just right this time.

Guess it's hard to call me an early-apexer (them's fightin' words) if the only photographic evidence of my having been in a car on a racetrack at speed shows more of an "Apex???" attitude. <g>

Hope you'll still have time to play cars!

Not only do I also hope so, I'm going to need it more. And going to be riding herd on a couple of consultants not only to get a project done as quickly as I want it done (moving us to a new database server), but to make sure I don't have to miss a track event in Topeka in 3 1/2 weeks. If I have to miss that, I'm going to be one very grumpy admin.

BTW, in case I didn't mention it on iHub, the new brakes are great! Thing practically screeches to a halt by pointing your toe at the pedal. Problem is that if you grab a lot of brakes, the rear-end hops up and down violently. I don't know yet if it's the spool going nuts because a caliper needs bleeding (the right side was nowhere near as hot as the left), needing a proportioning valve, or if the geometry is all screwed up. I think the latter is a strong possibility because we had to remove the horizontal quad-shocks to make room for the larger wheels and tires. Think Pete would know? I've got the long torque arm on the differential that goes all the way up to about the middle of the car. It *should* prevent the rear-end from rotating much. It's rubber-bushed, though, and I'm not entirely convinced it's not missing some washers to compress the rubber bushing more. It's not compressed at all right now.

I'll check to see if spacers would allow me to put the quads back in yet let the tires still clear the fenders. Have the long studs, so I can use a pretty big spacer.
