Even currency was recorded down to the serial numbers on bills. The reason $3.3 TRILLION is unaccounted for is clearly fraudulent transfers washed forward in time until it can be hand-waved by a convenient administration such as this one. The money was spent, no one questions that. Those currently in power were involved over the past 20 years in the gov't-industrial complex, no one denies that either. <<I wouldn't mind so much if all of that SSTF money was dedicated to another agency responsible for ensuring it is spent SOLELY on projects that create economic value (infrastructure, R&D, college support programs... etc)>> Just imagine - $3 trillion in infrastructure improvement and citizen resources - would come close to the shining alabaster cities on the hill. The simpler route to that goal is TRANSPARENCY on every public dollar, program and person, via websites such as this one, which tracks farm subsidy giveaways to corp. parasites, which you can look up at any time you please, down to the very neighborhood, agribusiness, company or person, and the dollars they've greased out of the system at your expense: ewg.org It won't happen with the non-public servants in office today. This site was done at no expense to the gov't (otherwise they would have starved it out of existance), and the same can be done with every other dollar and program. The big obstacle to honest gov't is dishonest secrecy promulgated by thugs, pickpockets, thieves and murders using the so-called "national security" blanket to protect their crimes. The notable swindle currently using that ploy is the resistance to any 9/11 investigation, by stonewalling, threatening, "national securitizing", and last week, making anything already public subject to the fraud known as "executive privilege", akin to royal privilege of old. In 18th Century France, the royals got their heads lopped off for too much arrogance. Apparently in this century we've been conditioned to sit and accept it, smile and nod.
