Victor, I don't know how old you are, but I think you should be old enough to remember when California was Reagan country. California is the stereotypical example of what is wrong with the republican party- they adopted a SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE platform, even if it means getting away from their "smaller govt" roots, and that is why they keep losing and everybody knows it. Rebublicans are trying to force a Christian coalition agenda on California, and voters don't like it. Now it should be obvious to them that in a state with a white Christian MINORITY (at least in the North) this would be a losing strategy. I think they know this, but they don't care. Gray Davis's campaign ads: "Gray Davis, he shares your values". Thats pretty much all you have to say to win here. I believe every pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gay conservative Christian agenda candidate will lose.
