OT Mq got word that Malaysia is planning CDMA Point-to-Multipoint network. Dirty cheap device stuck into the PCMCIA slot (or Ethernet port) and you are ready to go.

(Very scanty information, sorry) But seems to be the competition to Wi-Fi and by extention 3G.

Up here in Canada they are already authenticating 5$ bills in some places. Cash will be moot IMHO well within our lifetimes. I guess counterfeiting will need to go pixelated...
