Responding to: "Anyone want an iHub tagline t-shirt?"
.
Bob,
.
Your "I'm guessing not" was arrived with your geek hat on :o)
.
Let me guess the iHub store price of $15 (includes shipping)
has a profit of $5 for iHub. With "450 of them left" you could
do that "converted 400 of them to car-polishing rags" or better
you could accomplish two tasks for the price of whatever iHub's
expense of these 400 were to iHub's bottom line.
.
1. Get these 400 out in public view. (aka advertise iHub)
2. Acknowledge Dr. Zeev Hed's role.
2.1. Just maybe helped iHub being able to buy Si.
2.1.1. strengthen iHub
2.1.2. weaken Si
.
Contact the following site: (from Zeev's board iBox on iHub)
And to pay tribute to the turnips:
cafepress.com
This store is a non-commercial venture, providing tchotchkes
for the amusement of followers of "Zeev's Turnips."
There is a $1 mark-up on all items over the base price
set by CafePress, 100% of which goes to the Turnips' charity
(MVHA) [Merrimack Valley Hebrew Academy]
Zeev himself has no connection with this store,
other than to grant his permission for the use of the phrase
"Zeev's Turnips," to which which he retains exclusive ownership.
.
Now excluding the avenue to place Zeev's dna onto these t-shirts,
imagine a possible path where you ship them 400 to this site
and this site pays for the expense to silkscreen the turnip logo
onto the t-shirts and sells them to cover this cost plus shipping
plus a few dollars for the MVHA, plus their "$1 mark-up" as profit.
.
Now imagine if they could be sold for a low cost of $10 such that
they are priced to move quickly, then its a win all around eventhought
iHub gets stuck with the upfront cost of those 400, but then the
iHub logo gets out in public, and and and just MAYBE you could
allow the Si logo to also be placed on each t-shirt :o)
.
(extra, whats this turnip stuff)
For for a more lighthearted explanation of Zeev's Turnips?:

.
(too mulch extra)
Whats a Zurnip?
