Even though both Japan and the U.S. have been in an inflationary trend the fact that Japans many exports wind up on our shores in exchange for over priced dollars has kept Japans inflation in check ..
In other words the inverse of trading for weaker dollars..

I hope you get what i mean, its simple in my mind but to type it all out would be long winded and i hate getting into long winded posts -g-
