Hi Kerry - yes still in Europe, now in Amsterdam and enjoying life in a sane and civilized environment.

One reason I posted this item is the conduct I have seen from more and more hedge funds the past year or so. Everyone knows I am not a mo-mo chaser and I don't invest in junk stocks. So I really don't feel for the scammers who get exposed.

But I have seen more than a few charges leveled by hedge fund guys at companies where the gray areas are huge; maybe there is a problem and maybe none at all. But the insults and the accusations fly with the same force as a pink sheet pump and dump special.

If the company is legit, the most recent consequence has been massive short squeezes as the numerous newbie hedge dweebs crowd the shorts then eat each other trying to get out. The "superior DD" myth caved in with the sheer volume of hedgies trying to play the game (kinda like tech stocks, come to think of it).

In a gray area case where a short is getting desperate, I now expect to see exaggerations and the occasional outright lie. This case seemed to be an instance of that worth noting.

I looked at CHTT myself a few times and moved on without deeper DD for reasons I don't recall. It wasn't my cup of tea, I guess. Given that I have no stake in what happened or happens with CHTT, I thought this was an interesting instance to note.

Opinions are fine, we all have more than we need. Fabricating information to induce behavior in the market is not, long or short.
