Perhaps Saudi Arabia (The ruling class), will open their arms in warm embrace to the US, together fighting terrorism (Al Quaeda) in a common cause. Seems to be good for all concerned. The ruling class gets to keep their privilege and power, while the US slides into an even stronger position of influence on the Arabian peninsula. It doesn't get much better, and, in fact, may make some salivate for some absolutely grotesque events if you get my drift.

Maybe I am getting paranoid?

Phil

<Who will gain the most any conflict there?
Does that question require an answer?>

The question was actually an implication withdrawing the responce I expected.
