You're still posting vague criticisms like "The danger, of course, is that this country's hard-fought and cherished liberties will be chipped away a piece at a time" and "It doesn't take a civil liberties lawyer to know that this isn't good for the country." Only now you're posting them about an act that is, according to the same article, dead. Come on, GST, what civil liberties have you lost to the Patriot Act? Can't you, with all your expertise (you can copy & paste with the best of 'em), answer that simple question?
