I suggest you ask the dsl provider to run a noise test and other diagnostics on your line. You must have a short somewhere because dsl shd not go out "often," especially when you are so close to the CO.

Bob,

I agree with Rick's response to your post. There should be no barrier to you getting a reliable T1 connection at the office, especially when you are so close to the telco. It would have to make your tasks easier to have the equip. close at hand. Sometimes it is a matter of getting in touch with the right engineer at the telco (this from a guy the once was an engineer for a local power company).
