greg,

The fastest I can connect is 24Kbaud dialup, no chance of DSL or cable in my lifetime.

Ahh... That would explain why, when I'm reading your posts, they take so long to load... <g>

Not to mention the fact that I didn't see a single good-looking woman when I was out there.

Come to Tallahassee, Bob. Where our ladies are fine and plentiful; and our T-1 pipes, huge and cheap!

Best prices I've gotten so far are from AT&T. $1400 for a full T. Would need 3.

Problem is, the local phone company (not a baby Bell) says they'd charge AT&T lots more than that for use of the line and my DSL (one of only 2 in town) goes to a single T1 running about 20 miles back to the telco. They might not be willing/able to add more T's and since they're a very small outfit, might not have the expertise to ensure good uptime. I know T1 is supposed to be ultra-reliable, but I don't know if that'd hold true with this phone company.

So far, it looks like SI would be able to fit into a pair of T1's. iHub would pretty much fill up one, so would need 2.
