3. They wouldn't know an M3 from an M16.
And yes, I am interested in China.

Momentarily the steady thrum of computers, air conditioning fans, rustling paper, and busy urgent voices stopped as this announcement came across the monitor on the reporting screen at the People's Republic Intelligence Headquarters in Beijing. A sea of faces silently gazed in anticipation at the screen as a yellow ligh flashed silently in the background. Agent M-12, hunched over a printout with furrowed brow, conferring briefly with a fellow agent and gesticulating to a subordinate. The subordinate moved off quickly and returned with a slip of paper marked FYEO. He ripped the seal and read it. tapping of keys on the keyboard followed. He took out a set of keys and turned them peremptorily. The yellow light ceased to flash and everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief and returned to what they had been doing before. The printout on the monitor came scrolling by but people no longer seemed to care. Observed subject analysis, jocular statement, no military threat, no security precautions necessary. Continue to observe. Yellow alert off.
