Absolutely F*cking brutal! This is the cream of the poker crop, so to speak....still some great players left, including Phil Ivey, *Johnny Chan*, *Scotty Ngueyn*, *Phil Hellmuth*, David Chiu, *Amarillo Slim*, David Sklansky, Mike Sexton, Diego Cordovez, Howard Lederer, Annie Duke, Todd Ostrow, Humberto Brenes, *Dan Harrington*, Daniel Negreaneau, Harley Hall, David Plastik, Tony Ma, Chip Jett, *James Bechtel*, Paul Darden, Alan Goehring, TJ Cloutier, *Chris "Jesus" Ferguson* (though he was very short-stacked), Bill Gazes, Ralph Perry, Julian Gardner (last year's 2nd place finisher) and Tom Jacobs. (*-denotes former WSOP 10,000 No Limit Champ) They're down to about 216 players out of the original field of 893. Therefore, an average stack size now would be 41,000 or so. First prize is $2.5 million, 2nd is around 1.2 million or so. Going forward, the three obvious favorites have to be Ivey, Hellmuth and Ngueyn, because of the size of their stacks, experience and aggressiveness. I'd love to see all three at the final table, it would be an incredible duel! Others who could easily move up would be Goehring, Lederer, "Minneapolis Jim" Meehan, and Ralph Perry. ....
