As I see it, however, if there's world-wide recession, who would want any minerals? As far as precious metals are concerned, yes, there is still a "risk insurance" factor there but I don't think people buy much physical bullion any more, they buy calls or futures --- so we're back to paper again. > You'll be the smart one in the end. Do you mean when we're in Heaven --- or the other place? Frankly, I don't know what the answer is. Everything looks OK for a bit, and then it isn't. Seems one has to be a trader and jump around like a rabbit --- on and off, in and out, every day. Only problem is I'm too old and too lazy to do that.
