Boy is that the truth regardless of which type of change one espouses. The US tax code is perhaps the greatest source of control our government has over its citizens. Different factions have different ideas on how to exercise that control, but all segments want the control in some fashion.

This discussion could become very academic very quickly. Interesting topic though.

Nice to have you posting again in the evening.

I suspected you would have such a conclusion on a system based on consumption. But consumption is something that needs to be addressed by our society, I would hope this idea would get some exploration.
