No. With stock, his fortune is tied directly to mine. "Long term holders" are betting on his performance and 300,000 shares is an inconsequential cost.

Cash is taxable. He will get other "out of the money" options.

Morgan's successor is a big deal. Reevaluate, but not based on the pretense that top managers should not be amply compensated.
