another part not fully anticipated the US trade gap will continue to rise even when our economy slows even when our consumer spending slows Europe's economy will slow much worse their imports of Asian (esp Japanese) goods will slow badly Japan will be the hardest hit over in Asia from this slowdown they compete the most poorly with the PacRim China is killing them I suppose Chinese leaders are licking chops finally some revenge for World War II they only had to wait 60 years, a pittance to Chinese they are the most patient people on earth they are so patient, they relish revenge meted out by their children when the time is right, a revenge the elders are sure of but will not see for themselves / jim p.s. all this AOL Broadband is feeding me wisdom or bullshit, not sure which
