Bruce, there are still plenty of value investors. Hardly anyone else survived the past few years - the rest turned to trading or gave up. The difference is that value investors mostly ignore "the markets" and invest in stocks. Even the worst "market" has 20-30 decent companies to buy and hold. And you get to skip the daily/weekly histrionics over where "the markets" are going next. JMHO. I have been loading up on ACGL today long, after a nonsensical GS downgrade.
