"...and third world countries will progress very slowly in this time of capital scarcity". LOL! They progressed at a snail's pace (or none at all) during times of prosperity. See also: Nigeria (AFRICA for that matter), Middle East (despite Congressman Issa's best efforts), Russia, Uzbekistan, Khazahkstan, Azerbaijan, China, India...et, al... Talking on a phone may only be a priority to those who have been able to meet their basic needs (like food, shelter and safety)...it's a Maslow thing.
