rd, you dfidn't mention the stated goal of the bush administration to eliminate the cap gains tax.

how many single moms are worried about millions in dividend income that is taxed? -lol-

how much money would that mean to steve forbes just for picking his parents right?

the top 10% of this nation own about 70% of the stuff. the top 10% of wage earners pay about 68% of the taxes. it seems the middle class are paying much of their burden. let's equalize it then talk about tax cuts for all.

i'm not too upset about the bill that passed since bush's unbridled play to the elite wealthy was bridled to a large degree.

however, did ya see bush signed a document making it legal to add another TRILLION bucks to our debt level?

don't ya feel bad stealing from the nation's future? not even a little?

the recipe for success is simple. manage spending... tax to cover necessary expenditures and the wealthy should pay a higher percentage b/c they've reaped more of the benefits - and to a very large degree they did nothing other than "pick" their parents right.

as it stands now, most fo the top 10% richest people are actually UNDERPAYING, on a percentage basis, given the percent of america's wealth they own.
