If someone used your card fraudulently I doubt you would be able to remember all the gas stations you had ever visited, not to mention restaurants etc, and get the feds to investigate every employee of each one.

I know people who are scared to use their cards onliine but will happily hand it to someone they don't know in numerous retail outlets several times a day.

Don't know what the solution is and surprised it isn't a bigger problem.
