Bob. A war correspondent with fifteen years experience working in the field, covering one war after another, learning foreign languages and living in foreign countries for years, probably has a clearer understanding of the impact of US-led wars on real people in real life -- from what I can see from you on this thread you have never encountered real life, nor have you smelled the death and seen the destruction that is part and parcel of war. Nor have you spent years in the hotspots where an arrogant US foreign policy has a direct impact of real life -- and real death. This reporter writes and speaks about real life and real death -- since you do not seem to have any experience of your own, perhaps reading will bring you closer to understanding the reality of war and US foreign policy -- or perhaps not, as you so readily bounce up and down chanting "hail to the Chief" whenever Bush says "lets bomb some evil doers" and you chime in "where are your facts" every time the reality of the ineptness of our "regime change" policy is broadcast by one observer after another as real life paints a picture starkly different from the sloganeering and propaganda that flows from the White House, and is passed off as "intelligence".
