Bush has an eye in the home front too when he does this. I think with the lower dollar the US farm sector will export like crazy. (Hey, there's an election netx year, remember?)

John K. Galbraith used to write that the US was a 'third world' country since farm products accounted to a lot of exports.

Agribusiness doing well in the US, he can throw stones on other people's roof. But the French are not going to take that easy!!! Watch out for trucks blockades soon.

What for??? You want our food sitting on some ship for a month and then going on to you table??? IMO this is the ONE area where countries should do what they think is right and ignore economic dogma. OTOH, what happens NOW is probably pretty silly as well.
