Here's a good barometer to measure the health of the US Tax system:

H&R Block's profits rising - Taxes becoming more confiscatory, arbitrary, unfair.

H&R Block's profits falling - Tax system headed in the right direction.

H&R Block liquidates, and boards up windows in all offices - Tax nirvana.

Today's Tax health reading - H&R Block's profits are rising.
