Well now that I inspired that award winning discourse,

let me ask about

a Twilight Zone type problem I am having and for which I was referred here

<I have a rather twilight zone SI problem
I have been accessing SI from two different computers

My old one with Windows 98 is a little slower but works pretty well.

The other computer with is faster, newer, and with Windows Xp freezes SI in time at the time of booting. Ie I can see and access all the old posts but cannot see or access the newer posts as they arrive.

If I go to a thread I cannot see new posts as they happen. The threads are frozen at the time of booting.

If I know someone is posting I can go to his profile and see new posts by clicking there but this is rather cumbersome and haphazard.

Any ideas why this should be happening?>

You can click through the replies on the other thread, but basically I believe the browser would be netscape through bellsouth.net which is the same I use at the computer without the problem

Hi,

I have some problem with my PC, Dell dimension 2350 with window xp home addition. It suddenly has no sound. My little kid played around and clicked every button, and I think she might clicked wrong button.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone could help me.

Thanks,
Steve
