Ron, it is the ending purchase price of ANDIAMO that is variable.

Read the whole text I clipped out.

The ending purchase price of Andiamo depends on two factors: (a) a multiplier based on Cisco's market cap to revenue ratio, and (b) the amount of revenue attributable to Andiamo equipment. Furthermore, this price is subject to a cap and also to nonlinear effects in the event that the multiplier is less than 10 or greater than 15.

This "variability" leads to the purchase price of Andiamo being variable, which period of variability started when the acquisition was fait-accompli (as a consequence of the collar construction of the agreement between Andiamo and Cisco).
