Mike, it is obvious that AG is trying to keep the housing bubble afloat until the stock bubble can resurface. I think the politicians knew what they were buying into with this guy. They didn't want another strict taskmaster like Volker.

Even if for the current owners, they won't gain unless they sell the house without buying another new one before the price declines. those "paper" gain means higher property tax only for them, because by the time when they want to sell, either the housing price would have collapsed, or no one could afford to buy them.
