That's exactly the point I have been making.
The dollar drop has been good for gold bullion,
but bad for gold stocks (margin squeeze)
Yes, it's all about currencies at the moment.

True, but the way South Africa production was plummeting over the last 30 years while US production was rising, it almost looked like the US would become world's largest gold producer.

Currently:

1. RSA 395mt
2. USA 350mt (damn close)
3. Australia 280mt
4. China 190mt
5. Russia 180mt

P.S. Anyone notice gold is down about $5 today ?
