chuckle. Yep, my monthly statement from the bank contains fewer and fewer checks. Use the ATM card at the grocery store, pay a helluva of a lot of cash, and put a lot of the monthly bills on charge cards. I'm not yet ready to move to put the utility bills on and some other large monthly charges. I try to keep as much money in savings accounts as possible and as little in the checking account as needed. Sometimes I need to delay a payment a week or so just to get the next check/deposit. Paying them myself gives me that latitude. But, even then, all the regular monthly payments are done via Quicken and, thus, online.
