the ultimate reality of doing business on a global scale is... that you must deal with the economics of all countries on the globe. there is a period of homogenization that must be endured. the sooner, the better. of course! a populace that has been deprived of economic opportunity will work longer and harder for less when economic opportunity arrives... but if you believe in capitalism and free enterprise, you embrace that natural fact. if you don't embrace that, you're looking for another system. maybe a system based upon the right of the wealthy to hold onto and increase their wealth while not working as hard for it. i'm not sure what you'd call it, but from the experience of the first two years in the united states since the bush administration took control, might it be called "compassionate conservatism"?
