the gold shares are only telling us that the recent rise in the PoG has been confined to the USD based price of same, while it has done pretty much f*ck-all in other currencies. as soon as it resumes to rise in non-USD currencies, the gold shares should begin to exhibit a lot more strength. it is way too early for them to reflect the 'all paper will burn' effect. in fact, thye never may...they sure didn't in 1980 at the height of the inflation panic. and when both stocks AND bonds crashed together in 1931, gold stocks soared.
