<HUI - technical damage done today>

jims, could you kindly explain exactly what technical damage was done today

I look at your charts today and I see nothing very severe, but I always love to be educated.

In fact I see nothing positive in the USD chart either so if you could help out here also I would appreciate it.

Some may find the following from my favorite technician helpful:

Hi Jims,

I'm not sure about technical damage yet... I have become less literal in my chart interpretations, but I agree that this can't go down much further without the likelihood of significant selling. IMO, the risk/reward is less appealing. If one were to assume a POG trading range of $325 to $395 and maintain a corresponding gold shares/cash level, yesterday (POG $371) would have defined a 34% PM investment level. That is not quite what I am doing, but staying in my comfort zone finds me not far from that allocation level. I am primarily a contrarian swing trader and although it may have further to go, this swing is getting somewhat long in the tooth.

Best,

vt
