Nope, I think the current regime of Taiwan claims they are Taiwanese, not Chinese. And their previous President - Li DengHui, even had some ridiculous theory that Taiwanese have more Japanese tradition than Chinese tradition, blah, blah... Li himself seldom even spoke Mandarin. He used Taiwanese dialect and Japanese. And I read a couple of day ago that now officials of GuoMinDang already found some solid proof that Li had embezzled more than 100 million Tai currency (32=US$1?) during his presidency.

Jiang Jingguo and his father Jiang JieShi did agree there is only one China, and they were the legit one.<g> And I think even now the majority of Guomingdang in Taiwan still think there is only one China, although I might be wrong.
