I still watch the BBC. I think their news coverage is better than the american networks including cable. The francophone news media (not limited to just French channels themselves) both in France, and the little that's available in the US via Dish Network is also better than American coverage, despite the anti-American bias. I assume this is also true of the German or many other European news channels because in Europe they're just in much closer contact with other countries by proximity so it's normal for them to do a better job on that kind of reporting.
