elmatador, I think I covered Indonesia as "other developing countries", hehe. And after all, Indonesia still have a long way to go to catch up China and India in terms of the population count, right?<g> But seriously, the changing attitude towards the Chinese Indonesians helps (I read the other day that a high-ranking Indonesian official (PM?) said some friendly word towards the Chinese Indonesians there). Because the fact is the Chinese there is more business-savvy, whether they like it or not. It would hurt their economy a lot to show a hostile attitude toward those businessmen of Chinese origin.
