Enigma,
Nice observation. Even the hard core posters and threadsters are getting either bearish or ambivalent or looking at the gassers etc. Stocks have been kind of flat vs gold price like the dead action in late 2001.

Unfortunately, it is not carrying over to the gold stocks.
One used to expect a 4:1 move, where a 1% bullion rise would be good for 4% in stocks.
If you are in bullion, great, otherwise - yuck !
